Butler Rose are please to be supporting an expanding, modern, and dynamic accountancy practice in Waterlooville.

This brand new role has come about through business success and growth and will offer true career progression. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this brand new role will be responsible for:

* The completion and review of bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS.
* Prepare accounts & tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* To communicate with clients via phone, email, social media and in person, including chasing records.
* To onboard new clients and integrate them into your portfolio
* To support the Client Manager and Senior Accountant
* To act as liaison between clients and HM Revenue & Customs to deal with and resolve queries.

Essential skills:
* AAT, ATT, Or ACCA - actively studying.
* Experience within an accountancy practice
* Sound understanding and working knowledge of tax.
* Must be able to prepare, review and check accounts & tax returns for clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

Desirable skills:
* Able to navigate Microsoft packages, specifically Word and Excel.
* Experience of working with clients utilising Xero, QuickBooks, DEXT and Free Agent to produce client work.
