Job Description:
Role: Interim Management Accountant
Location: Appleton (3 days per week on-site)
Day Rate: £350-£450
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Initial 3-6 months (with potential to extend)
I am currently working with a well-established logistics business based in Appleton who are looking to engage an Interim Management Accountant for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
* Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Business partnering with operational stakeholders
* Cost analysis and margin reporting within a logistics environment
* Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
* Supporting process improvements and ad-hoc financial analysis
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role
* Strong month-end and reporting capability
* Experience within logistics, supply chain, or a fast-paced operational business preferred
* Confident working on-site and engaging with non-finance stakeholders
* Available to start immediately or at short notice
