Science Teacher – SEND School (Redhill Area)
£34,398-£48,913 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus
Full-time | Permanent
8:15am start | Early Friday finish
Join a brand-new SEND secondary school supporting students aged 11–16 with Autism, social communication and emotional regulation needs. Small classes, great support, and a personalised curriculum.
The Role
*Ability to teach Science up to GCSE level
*Adapt lessons for diverse SEND needs
*Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team
*Occasional teaching at a nearby satellite site
What You’ll Do
*Deliver tailored, engaging Science lessons
*Plan long, medium and short-term
*Set personalised targets and track progress
*Contribute to EHCPs, PEPs and reports
*Manage behaviour calmly and consistently
*Help shape a growing school
You’ll Need
*PGCE, QTS or equivalent (Essential)
*Ability to teach Science to GCSE
*Experience with SEND or complex needs
*Strong curriculum knowledge
*Understanding of Autism
*Positive, resilient, reflective
