Job Description:
Residential Property Paralegal
Central London
£28,000 – £35,000
Join a Top 100 UK Law Firm with a Proven Track Record of Developing Talent
I am currently working with a Top 100 UK Law Firm, consistently recognised by The Legal 500, to recruit an experienced Residential Property Paralegal into their Central London office.
This is an opportunity to join a nationally respected firm that delivers exceptional legal work while maintaining a genuine commitment to internal progression. Uniquely, the firm recruits all of its trainee solicitors from within, offering a clear and meritocratic pathway to qualification for high-performing paralegals.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will initially play a key role in managing post-exchange and post-completion matters within a busy and highly regarded Residential Property team. Responsibilities will include:
*Managing completions from exchange through to registration
*Submitting SDLT returns
*Handling Land Registry applications and resolving requisitions
*Liaising with lenders, clients, and third parties
*Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and compliantly
From the outset, you will gain exposure to a broad range of residential transactions, including:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Remortgages
*Transfers of equity
*New build transactions
As you progress within the role, there will be a structured pathway into more technical and higher-value work. You will increasingly support — and ultimately take greater ownership of — complex residential transactions, including matters involving high-net-worth clientele and bespoke property arrangements.
This is a role designed not just as a job, but as a platform for development.
About You
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Residential Conveyancing department
*Strong working knowledge of the conveyancing process, particularly post-exchange and post-completion
*Confident managing your own matters under supervision
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Commercially aware and client-focused
*Ambitious and motivated by long-term progression
This is not an entry-level role; it is suited to a capable paralegal seeking both responsibility now and technical progression over time.
Why This Firm?
Top 100 UK Law Firm with a strong national presence
Ranked by The Legal 500 across multiple practice areas
All trainee solicitors promoted internally
Transparent and realistic progression pathways
Exposure to high-value London-based transactions
Competitive salary of £28,000 – £35,000
Hybrid working and comprehensive benefits package
This firm combines the reputation and quality of a leading national practice with a culture that is supportive, collegiate, and genuinely invested in its people.
For an ambitious Residential Property Paralegal seeking high-quality work, structured development, and a credible route to qualification, this represents one of the strongest opportunities currently available in the London market.
