Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Residential Property Paralegal to join our busy conveyancing team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or legal assistant looking to build a long-term career in residential property.
You will work closely with experienced fee earners, supporting a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters while developing your practical legal skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting fee earners with a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
*Opening and closing files, including conducting client due diligence and ID checks
*Drafting standard correspondence and legal documents
*Preparing contract packs and completion statements
*Ordering searches and reviewing search results
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
*Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
*Maintaining accurate case records on the firm’s case management system
*Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
Requirements
*Law degree or equivalent legal qualification (preferred but not essential)
*Previous legal or administrative experience (desirable)
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn case management systems
