Commercial Project Coordinator


Location: Stevenage
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Travel: 6 to 8 International Trips per Year (Europe & Middle East)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Office-based (5 days per week unless travelling, flexibility considered where required)


About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Commercial Project Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a highly developmental opportunity designed for an organised, proactive individual who is looking to build a long-term career within a commercial, client-facing environment.
This role is not a high-volume sales position. Instead, it focuses on managing long-term client relationships, supporting complex commercial projects, and coordinating activity across multiple stakeholders internationally.
You will work closely with senior leadership, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship, with a clear pathway to progress into a more senior commercial role over time.
The position offers exposure to international markets across Europe and the Middle East, where building rapport, managing expectations, and maintaining professional relationships are key. Project and deal cycles can often span 6-12 months, requiring patience, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
Projects can be valued up to £500,000, requiring professionalism, resilience, and a consultative, relationship-driven approach.


Key Responsibilities
*Supporting international commercial activity across Europe and the Middle East
*Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
*Coordinating and supporting the delivery of high-value, multi-stage projects
*Managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
*Arranging and attending client meetings (both virtually and in person) alongside senior team members
*Communicating professionally with international stakeholders via email, phone, and video calls
*Supporting both account management and project coordination processes
*Handling client queries and managing expectations throughout longer sales/project cycles
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and project records


Candidate Requirements
*Experience in a client-facing, coordination, administrative, or commercial support role
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
*Comfortable working on longer-term projects or relationships rather than quick sales cycles
*Confident communicator, able to engage professionally with a range of client personalities (including more direct or challenging stakeholders)
*A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to "get things done" efficiently
*Emotional intelligence and resilience when dealing with complex client interactions
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Willingness to learn and commit to long-term development
*Ambition to progress into a future senior commercial or leadership role
