Location: London (office-based, 5 days per week)
Salary: Circa £35,000
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday,
We are working with a respected organisation within the education sector that are loooking for an External Engagement Manager to join their communication and events team.
The External Engagement Manager will support the delivery of stakeholder engagement activity and events whilst building partnerships and raising awareness.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining external relationships, coordinating communications, and delivering high-profile events
- Maintain regular contact with external stakeholders and partners
- Coordinate meetings, briefings and stakeholder communications
- Creating newsletters and event invitations
- Support initiatives to increase awareness and participation
- Support the planning and delivery of stakeholder and flagship events (coordinate venues, suppliers, catering, and event logistics)
- Assist with on-the-day event delivery
- Monitor event budgets and process invoices
- Maintain accurate records and databases
To be considered suitable for this external engagement role you will need the following experience/skills:
- Experience organising events or supporting partnership activity
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Confident liaising with a range of external contacts and senior stakeholders
- Partnerships experience
- Experience in education, public affairs or civic engagement would be preferred.
