Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Chipping Norton on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is looking to develop within a supportive organisation that genuinely values quality, balance and continuous improvement.

What you will be doing
*Processing supplier invoices and supporting the accounts payable function
*Raising customer invoices and assisting with accounts receivable
*Performing bank and statement reconciliations
*Supporting cash allocation and chasing outstanding balances
*Maintaining accurate financial records across the group
*Assisting with monthly reporting and month-end processes
*Supporting data cleansing and preparation for new system workflows
*Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
*Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies
What we are looking for*Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar finance role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
*Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
*Interest in ongoing professional development (AAT, ACCA or CIMA)
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
