Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Freight Forwarding)

We are a recruitment agency currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Loughborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for consistent work with the potential to secure a permanent role.
The Role*Driving an 18-ton curtain-side vehicle
*Monday to Thursday stay-outs (stop-overs required)
*Returning Friday afternoon
*5:00 AM starts
*Signing delivery paperwork
*Using CX app for job updates
*Operating a pump truck when required
*"Close and go" deliveries
*Handballing not normally required, but may be necessary in rare situations

*£25 daily food allowance (if parking location does not provide meals)
*4-week trial period with potential for temp-to-perm
Requirements*Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
*Maximum 3 points on licence
*Valid CPC & Digital Tacho card
*Safety boots required
*DVLA check required
