Assistant Management AccountantLocation: Bromsgrove
Salary: £29,000 - £31,000
Contract: Permanent / Full Time
The Role:The Assistant Management Accountant supports the finance team in delivering accurate financial information, understanding business performance, and contributing to improved operational and commercial outcomes. The role offers broad exposure across reporting, analysis and stakeholder support, helping to drive efficiency and value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting financial reporting activities.
*Providing financial insight and analysis to help operational teams understand performance.
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial planning cycles.
*Helping to maintain financial controls, balance sheet accuracy and reconciliations.
*Contributing to improvements in financial efficiency.
*Supporting financial input into projects, reviews and business improvement initiatives.
Skills & Requirements:*Actively studying (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
*Strong interest in finance and management accounting.
*High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
*Clear and confident communication skills, written and verbal.
*Strong excel skills.
