Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Preston area.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will:
*Support teaching and learning across KS2 classes
*Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support
*Assist with small-group interventions and one-to-one support
*Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with children in a school setting (KS2 preferred)
*Is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
*Has strong communication skills and can work well as part of a team
*Holds relevant childcare/teaching assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
*Has a current DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply for one
