Job Description:
A respected and growing environmental consultancy based in Tetbury is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join its expanding team. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, the practice delivers high-quality ecological and environmental services across the South West and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated ecologist who is ready to take a leading role in project delivery, client relationships, and team development within a supportive and forward-thinking consultancy.

The Senior Ecologist will;
* Lead a diverse portfolio of ecological projects from tender to completion
* Undertake and oversee protected species surveys and habitat assessments
* Deliver high-quality technical reports, EcIAs, and Biodiversity Net Gain strategies
* Provide expert ecological advice to clients, planners, and design teams
* Mentor junior ecologists and contribute to team development
* Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
You will ideally have; * Strong field survey experience and sound botanical knowledge
* Expertise in UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
* Experience producing EcIA and BNG assessments
* Protected species licences (desirable)
* Membership of CIEEM (or working towards)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills
