Finance Assistant Tunbridge Wells | £28,000 | Office-Based | AAT Study Support
A rare finance assistant has arisen to join a highly respected, global organisation operating within a specialist and secure international sector.
Due to continued growth, this established yet expanding business is seeking a discreet, professional and detail-focused Finance Assistant to support its senior leadership team from its Kent office.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who values working within a confidential, high-integrity environment while developing their career within an international organisation.
About the role Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior management, the Finance Assistant will provide essential financial and administrative support across the business.
Operating within a small, trusted team, this role requires a high level of accuracy, professionalism and discretion.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and employee expenses
*Managing supplier payments
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
*Raising invoices to clients
*Managing credit control and cash collection
*Allocating cash receipts
*Handling invoicing queries
*Providing administrative and financial support to senior leadership
This is a full-time, office-based role (9.00am–5.30pm with one hour for lunch and slight flexibility). There may be the opportunity to work from home one day per week once established in the role.
What we are looking for The successful candidate will have solid experience within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
They will demonstrate:
*Experience managing transactional processing in a fast-paced environment
*A high level of discretion and professionalism
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Good working knowledge of Excel
*A structured, organised and methodical approach
*A hands-on attitude suited to a small, collaborative team
