Randstad Education is working with a primary school in Kirkby to recruit a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Y6 with ASD. This term-time role offers the chance to make a real difference, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. This is for an asap start until at least December 2025, likely for the full academic year for the right person.
Key Responsibilities: *Provide one-on-one support to a child with Autism within the Y6 class and also support other children within the classroom.
*Act as a positive role model, building strong and supportive relationships with students.
*Work with the class teacher to support lesson delivery within the Y6 classroom
*Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism in all interactions.
*UK school experience is essential to be considered for this role.
