Accountant GL & Process Specialist (SAP Essential)
West London | Hybrid/Flexible
A well-established international organisation is seeking a GL Accountant & Process Specialist to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant with deep SAP ERP expertise and a passion for process improvement and digitalisation.
Key Responsibilities
*Own and maintain accurate General Ledger records with full audit trail
*Lead balance sheet reconciliations (AR, AP, Stock, Fixed Assets)
*Deliver month-end close, intercompany reconciliations & variance analysis
*Produce management reporting and financial insights
*Review and set inventory standard costs
*Strengthen credit control processes and Opex controls
*Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
*Support internal and external audits
*Drive process optimisation, automation & finance digitalisation initiatives
*Support budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
*ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified with 5+ years’ experience
*Strong SAP ERP experience (ESSENTIAL) - FICO advantageous
*Advanced Excel skills
*Experience with BI tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud)
*Experience with automated Order-to-Pay processes desirable
*Process-driven, systems-oriented mindset
*Fluent English (Spanish desirable)
*Right to work in the UK
