Job Description:
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and resilient Qualified Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Tower Hamlets.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require additional support to re-engage with education.
The Role:*Deliver 6-7 History lessons per week (KS3/KS4).
*Provide ad hoc English cover as required.
*Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations.
*Support students with diverse social, emotional and behavioural needs.
*Implement and manage Exam Access Arrangements, ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations.
*Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams.
The Ideal Candidate:*Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
*Has experience working in a PRU, alternative provision or with vulnerable learners.
*Demonstrates knowledge and experience of Exam Access Arrangements.
*Is adaptable, calm and committed to inclusive practice.
*Has strong behaviour management skills.
