Global Payroll Specialist - Farnborough - Circa £300 per day - 3/6 month contract
Payroll Specialist
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple European countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare, validate, and submit payroll data to external providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local legislation
*Review payroll outputs to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
*Maintain and audit employee data within HRIS and related systems to ensure data integrity
*Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, tax, deductions, payslips, and benefits
*Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure accurate enrolment and payroll deductions
*Support compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
*Take ownership of ongoing professional development and performance improvement
Skills and Experience
*Extensive experience in payroll processing, ideally across multiple countries
*Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and tax regulations
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
*High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
*Ability to manage complex information and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Experience with Workday, Deel, or other large-scale payroll systems is advantageous
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional relevant languages are beneficial)
*Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment
