SEN Teaching Assistant

Full-Time | Term Time Only
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and ambitious secondary school in Newham.
About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
*Work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to implement personalised learning plans
*Provide 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom
*Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
*Monitor and record student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:*Have experience working with young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
*Be patient, resilient, and nurturing
*Have strong communication and teamwork skills
*Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
