Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Middleton
£95-£100 per day | Start ASAP | Through Tradewind Recruitment
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and forward-thinking Secondary School in Middleton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated education professional who is ready to make an immediate impact.
The role is available to start as soon as possible, offering daily pay between £95 and £100, dependent on experience.
About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with class teachers and the wider pastoral team, you will:
*Provide in-class support across a range of subjects
*Deliver targeted interventions to small groups and individual pupils
*Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND
*Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
This is a hands-on role requiring confidence, adaptability and a proactive approach.
Essential RequirementsPlease note: Only candidates with prior experience working in schools or the education sector will be considered.
To be successful in this role, you must:
*Have proven experience working within a school setting (secondary preferred)
*Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
*Be confident supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs
*Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
*Provide relevant professional references
