The Role
The Management Accountant’s duties will include:
*Preparing monthly Management Accounts
*Producing the monthly MI pack with clear insight
*Managing Payroll, VAT and Tax
*Supporting and overseeing the Accounts Assistant
*Working with external accountants on Statutory Accounts
*Improving and maintaining financial controls and processes
*Managing and enhancing the finance system
*Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders

The Person
The requirements for the Management Accountant role are:
*Experience in a similar role (those that qualified by experience or part qualified are encouraged to apply)
*Experience working in a small business or SME environment
*Confident working independently
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Knowledge of good accounting processes and internal controls
*Manufacturing experience useful but not essential
*Proactive mindset with the ability to improve systems and processes
