Job Description:
Aspire People are currently seeking a confident and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Denton, supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
This role focuses on supporting children with additional learning needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
The Role:
Delivering small-group intervention sessions in Maths and English
Providing 1:1 academic support aligned to individual learning plans
Supporting pupils with attention and concentration difficulties
Encouraging independence and confidence in learning
Collaborating with teaching staff and SENCO to track progress
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting SEND pupils in a primary setting
Good understanding of KS2 curriculum expectations
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Patient, empathetic and adaptable
Able to build positive and professional relationships
