We’re searching for a passionate, committed 1:1 Tutor to support learners from KS1 through to KS4, delivering personalised tuition across core subjects and the wider national curriculum. This is a chance to make a genuine difference-helping students grow in confidence, close learning gaps, and reach their full potential.
As a 1:1 Tutor, you’ll create tailored, engaging sessions that meet each learner exactly where they are. Because many students require additional support, applicants must have a strong background and understanding of SEN, along with the creativity and patience to adapt their approach.

Position Details * Location: St Helens

* Role: 1:1 Tutor

* Start date: ASAP

* Duration: Dependent on each student

* End date: Ongoing

* Contract type: Temporary

* Hours: Part-time or full-time depending on availability

* Rate: From £25 to £30 per hour

* Session length: 1-3 hours per session

Experience, Training and Qualifications * QTS or equivalent

* Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but not essential)

* UK classroom teaching experience

* A creative, patient approach and willingness to think outside the box

Eligibility Requirements * Right to work in the UK

* Enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
