If you’re a Supply Planner seeking a new role, we have a brilliant opportunity for you.
*Location: Ashford, Kent
*Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
*Hours: 7.5 hours a day with flexible start and finish times
*Salary: £32,000 - £36,000pa
*Annual leave: 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
*Duration: 12 month FTC
Your key responsibilities:
*Plan the purchase and delivery of products
*Setting up products and suppliers in SAP and maintenance of all associated Master Data
*Creating and maintaining of purchase orders for products, ensuring agreed stock levels are maintained and continuity of supply is maintained and risks mitigated
*Collaborate with colleagues in Business Development to ensure the smooth launch of new products, including attending project meetings and undertaking tasks
*Working with key suppliers to ensure forecasts are shared and supply issues are known and mitigated
*Generating and issuing reports to the business
For this position, you’ll need the following:
*Purchasing/Supply chain experience
*The confidence to negotiate and reduce cost of goods
*Intermediate Excel skills
*SAP knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
