Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Hourly Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Aspire People are thrilled to be recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant for a wonderful primary school in the heart of St Helens. This school prides itself on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 4 to 11 years, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), through its dedicated SEND bases. The school is committed to delivering high-quality education and creating a supportive learning space for all students, and now we’re looking for someone who shares that same commitment.


What We’re Looking For:

A compassionate, patient individual who is genuinely passionate about supporting children.

Previous experience working with primary-aged children is preferred, especially in a SEND setting, though experience in similar environments will also be considered.

The ability to support children both in the classroom and in small group or 1:1 settings, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each pupil.

Strong communication skills, with a talent for building positive and supportive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

A solid understanding of child development and a genuine desire to promote both the learning and wellbeing of each student.
