Exciting Opportunity – Temporary Administrator (Wakefield) | Immediate Start
Are you an organised, detail-driven Administrator looking for your next challenge? We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients in Wakefield for a Temporary Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced team with an immediate start.
Working 37.5 hours Monday–Friday (office based), you’ll play a central role in supporting business operations. This role is perfect for someone with strong email management skills, excellent customer service, and a meticulous eye for detail. You will also be involved in contract management, including updating and checking contract information for accuracy.
No two days will be the same in this busy team environment! You’ll build strong internal and external relationships, support key processes and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
*Managing multiple email inboxes and responding professionally to enquiries.
*Updating, checking, and maintaining contract documentation for accuracy and compliance.
*Entering data accurately into the central database and Excel spreadsheets.
*Liaising with partners to arrange travel bookings in line with company policies (full training provided).
*Coordinating all aspects of travel: air, train, and bus bookings, plus arranging alternatives for delays/cancellations.
*Managing registration sites, handling delegate changes, and ensuring data accuracy for travel and accommodation.
*Distributing e-tickets and final communications to registrants.
*Recording ticket pricing to support reconciliation activity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
*Strong ability to manage high volumes of emails efficiently.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with names, addresses, and contract data.
*Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
