A leading independent construction consultancy are now seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will lead the delivery of complex projects, providing strategic quantity surveying and commercial advice to a portfolio of established clients. This Associate Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to manage a team of quantity surveyors while remaining actively involved in project delivery. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be based in London and will play a key role in the continued growth of the quantity surveying division.

The Associate Quantity Surveyor will work across commercial and mixed-use developments, delivering professional quantity surveying services from feasibility through to completion. This Associate Quantity Surveyor position offers leadership responsibility within a structured and collaborative environment.
The Role
As the Associate Quantity Surveyor you will oversee multiple projects and support the wider quantity surveying team.
The role will include:
Leading pre and post contract quantity surveying services
Preparation and review of cost plans and budgets
Contract administration under JCT forms of contract
Managing procurement strategies and tender processes
Overseeing valuations, variations and final accounts
Leading client meetings and reporting at senior level
Mentoring and developing Senior and Assistant Quantity Surveyors
Supporting business development and client relationship management
The Associate Quantity Surveyor?
You will be an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness and leadership capability.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline
MRICS chartered status
Proven experience delivering commercial or mixed-use projects in London
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
Experience managing and developing teams
Confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills

£80,000 - £90,000 pa (dependant on experience)
