Veritas Education is looking to appoint a committed and confident Year 5 Teacher for a short-term paternity cover role at a welcoming primary school in Lancaster.
The position will run from the beginning of March until the Easter break, making it an ideal opportunity for a strong practitioner seeking a brief but fulfilling teaching assignment.
Role Overview*Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 5 class
*Follow existing planning and ensure continuity for pupils
*Maintain a positive classroom environment and strong behaviour management
*Work collaboratively with the school’s senior leadership and KS2 team
*Ensure effective marking and assessment throughout the cover period
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
*Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain classroom standards
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Availability from early March until Easter
