Are you an experienced and resilient tutor with a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
We are currently recruiting for a full-time 1:1 Tutor to support a pupil in Salford who requires bespoke educational provision outside of mainstream school. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in re-engaging a young person with learning and building their confidence both academically and emotionally.
About the Role:*Deliver personalised, differentiated lessons (core subjects such as English and Maths)

*Adapt teaching strategies to meet SEMH needs and learning gaps

*Provide consistency, structure, and clear boundaries

*Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

*Track progress and provide regular feedback to the agency and relevant professionals

*Sessions may take place in the home or community setting

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Experience working with pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or those out of education

*Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

*A calm, patient and resilient approach

*The ability to build positive, trusting relationships

*Experience delivering tailored 1:1 learning

*QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualification (desirable but not essential)
