SQL Developer - Job Specification
Role Overview
We’re looking for a SQL Developer to support a Data Warehouse replacement and reporting simplification project. You’ll work on rebuilding data pipelines, improving reporting structures, and supporting the migration to modern Microsoft data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop, optimise, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
*Support Data Warehouse rebuild/migration activities
*Streamline reporting structures and improve data models
*Build and maintain Power BI datasets and reports
*Work with Azure / Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Lakehouse, Pipelines, Data Factory)
Key Skills
*Strong SQL / T-SQL development experience
*Power BI (data modelling + report building)
*Experience with Data Warehousing, ETL, or data migration
*Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse/Data Factory
*Good understanding of data modelling and reporting best practices
Nice to Have
*Experience in analytics engineering or BI development
*Knowledge of modern cloud data architectures
