Are you an experienced and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced Special Educational Needs School in Didsbury for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
About the Role:You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include:
*Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
*ADHD
*Speech & Language difficulties
*Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
*Complex learning difficulties
Working closely with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering tailored support, promoting independence, and helping pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Previous experience working in a SEN school or supporting children with additional needs
*A calm, patient, and resilient approach
*Strong behaviour management skills
*The ability to build positive and trusting relationships
*A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) - desirable but not essential
