Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a supportive primary school in Crosby who are seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a TA with experience supporting children with additional needs who is passionate about making a positive difference in the classroom.
The Role: * Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups

* Working with children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs and other additional needs

* Assisting the class teacher with planning and adapting learning activities

* Supporting EHCP targets and behaviour management strategies

* Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous experience supporting children with SEND (school or care setting)

* A calm, patient and proactive approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
