Geotechnical Estimator
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
A specialist Ground Investigation contractor based in London is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants long-term career progression, with the role sitting directly under the Business Development Manager and offering clear growth into senior commercial or business development positions.

This contractor specialises purely in ground investigation, delivering technically strong and commercially competitive solutions across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout London and the Southeast. The Role
As Geotechnical Estimator, you will play a key part in securing new work and supporting the company’s expansion. You will be responsible for pricing and preparing competitive tenders for a wide range of ground investigation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
*Reviewing tender documents, specifications and drawings
*Preparing detailed cost estimates for boreholes, trial pits, window sampling, laboratory testing and monitoring works
*Liaising with the Business Development Manager to align pricing strategy with company growth plans
*Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations
*Preparing pricing schedules and tender submissions
*Supporting client communication throughout the bid process
*Assisting with commercial handovers to the operations team
About You
*Experience pricing ground investigation works
*Background working for a GI contractor or geotechnical contractor
*Strong commercial awareness
*Strong Excel and organisational skills
