Job Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Rainhill
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (potential for permanent roles) - Day to day, short & Long term placements
Start date: February 2026

Are you a passionate and committed Learning Support Assistant eager to make a real difference in the classroom? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic LSA’s to join vibrant and supportive primary schools across Rainhill & surrounding areas who have a strong background working with SEN students.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support for Pupils
*Assist individual pupils or small groups to understand and complete learning activities.
*Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities.
*Help pupils develop social skills, independence, and confidence.
*Encourage positive behaviour and help manage challenging behaviour following school policies.
*Support pupils with personal care, if required.
Support for the Teacher
*Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
*Assist with the assessment and recording of pupils’ progress.
*Provide feedback to the teacher on pupils’ achievements or difficulties.
*Help manage classroom routines and maintain a positive learning environment.
*Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, or break times when required.
