Corporate and Commercial Lawyer

We are seeking a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer to play a pivotal role within our growing legal team. This position involves advising a diverse client base, from SMEs to large corporations, on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. The successful candidate will lead projects and processes, support compliance objectives, and contribute to the profitability and strategic goals of the department.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers & acquisitions, company formations, shareholders’ agreements, and joint ventures.
*Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as supply agreements, service agreements, and terms and conditions.
*Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
*Offer non-contentious employment/TUPE advice.
*Assist in the sales of SPVs whose sole/main asset is real estate.
*Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
*Supervise and mentor junior solicitors or paralegals, where appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in England & Wales.
*At least 5 years PQE in corporate and commercial law.
*Proven experience handling complex transactions and contract negotiations independently.
*Strong technical legal knowledge, commercial acumen, and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication and client management skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of your workload.
*Track record of building a network of businesses, professionals, and referrers.
