We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Finance Business Partner, Alternatives
The Global Finance Business Partner will provide end to end financial management across all aspects of the Private Credit segment within the Alternatives business in Asset Management. This position will play a key role in supporting the Controllership function, particularly in Fund Consolidation activities. You’ll be responsible for supporting the establishment of reporting frameworks to facilitate the growth of Asset Management’s Private Credit capabilities and to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial data for both internal management information (MI) and financial control requirements.

In this role you’ll:
*Review fund level financial statements and reporting, including bank, investment and balance sheet reconciliations and substantiation activity, ensuring accuracy, control and compliance across all in-scope entities
*Preparation of fund consolidation journals from a Group perspective
*Analyse fund valuations and the monitoring of commitments and deployments made
*Liaise with the business/relevant counterparties to ensure the accounting entries reflects accurately and timely with business developments
*Establish processes and proactively develop solutions to challenges within Private Credit strategies and share these across other business lines within the Group.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and regulatory reporting requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
*Hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA etc.
*Solid understanding of Fund Accounting and Fund Structuring ideally within an Asset Management led environment or other general investment structures
*Have a strong analytical capability and used to working and interpreting financial data
*High level of communication skill to be able to work with various info to produce reports etc.
*Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that create a ’Trusted Partner’ outlook.
*Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks and projects often with conflicting priorities
