Legal Counsel – Commercial Solicitor | North East Based | 3+ PQE
Working arrangement: Flexible hybrid policy (3 days in office)
Are you a commercially minded solicitor looking for a varied in-house role with high-value commercial and project exposure?
We’re partnering with a major international organisation seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal Team. This is a broad, business-facing role offering real ownership, strong stakeholder exposure, and involvement in strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities:*Lead and negotiate commercial and supplier contracts
*Advise on procurement, operational projects, and business initiatives
*Provide pragmatic risk analysis and guidance to stakeholders
*Support disputes, regulatory compliance, and governance matters
About You:*Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years PQE
*Strong commercial contracts experience
*Comfortable managing stakeholders and balancing legal risk with business objectives
*Pragmatic, collaborative, and confident in a fast-moving environment
This role is ideal for: associates moving in-house, existing in-house lawyers seeking broader exposure, or solicitors looking to develop commercial and project experience.
