Contract: Part-time (0.6 FTE), Maternity Cover
Are you an experienced and passionate SENCo looking for a rewarding part-time role? This Southend-based primary school is seeking a committed professional to provide maternity cover and continue delivering high-quality support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

The Role
As the SENCo, you will:

*Monitor pupil progress and review support plans
*Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
*Provide training, guidance, and expertise to staff
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)
*Strong understanding of SEND processes and legislation
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*A reflective, supportive, and approachable practitioner
