Van Driver – Includes Warehouse & Computer Work
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 start times
Rates of Pay
• £12.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Van Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Completing customer deliveries in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Working with a driver’s mate or second driver when required due to two-person lifting
• Delivering products to customers’ room of choice
• Making deliveries to residential properties
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
• Inputting and processing customer orders using computer systems
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN10, DR10, or DD10 endorsements)
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Desirable Experience
• At least 12 months’ multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced delivery environment
Training Provided
• Paid site induction and assessment prior to starting
• Full industry-related training with ongoing support throughout your assignment
