Warehouse Forklift Driver – Permanent Position

Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Salary:£26,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Forklift Driver looking for a long-term opportunity within a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will:
*Ensure all warehouse areas are counted in line with the weekly stock schedule (this schedule will vary each week).
*Report any inventory discrepancies promptly to avoid out-of-stock situations.
*Support the warehouse team with goods-in processes.
*Maintain all housekeeping disciplines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
*Work to and support FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
*Liaise weekly with the Quality Assurance (Q.A.) team to ensure stock on hold is managed efficiently.
*Adhere strictly to allergen segregation rules.
*Assist with monthly and annual stocktakes alongside the Warehouse Manager.
*Always follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Requirements
*Valid Forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
*Previous warehouse experience preferred.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
