This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a reputable organisation in the Not For Profit sector. The role is based in Tameside and focuses on delivering high-quality management accounts and support to the organisation

Description
*Manage budgeting, financial reporting and variance analysis, providing clear insights and regular updates to budget holders.
*Provide financial advice and support to stakeholders within the trust.
*Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day financial operations and high-quality support for internal stakeholders.
*Own the month-end process, including preparation of journals and monthly management accounts
*Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and provide analysis on any variances or areas requiring attention.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Either a Full Accountancy Qualification or be Part Qualified (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA/CIPFA)
*Prepared full management accounts
*Mentored or developed staff previously
*Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
*Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
