Temporary Teacher of Maths
*Annual Salary: £34,398 - £52,490
*Location: West Sussex
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Maternity Cover)
Join this highly-successful and happy community where students enjoy learning and teachers enjoy teaching. We are an Ofsted ’Outstanding’ school , and we are looking for a Temporary Teacher of Maths to cover maternity leave.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Teach Mathematics to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with the potential to teach at KS5.
*Engage, motivate, and inspire students to achieve their maximum potential in Mathematics.
*Develop and deliver interactive and high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and styles.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and interventions as necessary to promote student success.
*Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department to share resources, strategies, and best practices.
*Participate in departmental and school-wide professional development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels; ability to teach KS5 is desirable.
*Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and current teaching methods.
*Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters diversity and promotes high standards of student behaviour.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
