Installations Project Manager – Fire & Security
Pertemps are excited to be hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced and driven Installations Project Manager – Fire & Security to join their growing operations team based in Shipley.
The Role
As Installation Projects Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of fire and security installation projects. You will work closely with sales, procurement, and engineering teams to allocate resources effectively, drive efficiencies, and ensure a "right first-time" delivery approach. You will be responsible for meeting business KPIs, including margin performance, SHEQ compliance, and overall client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and interpret project scopes
* Plan and schedule installations effectively
* Manage resources and ensure RAMS are in place
* Maintain strong client communication and arrange convenient appointments
* Monitor quality assurance and ensure compliance standards are met
* Provide hands-on support to installation engineers
* Complete project reports and client handover documentation within required timescales
* Track and report on KPIs
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues and delays efficiently
* Conduct post-project reviews with the sales team
About You
* Proven track record as a Project Manager
* Strong technical understanding of installation workflows and processes
* Experience in installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire & security systems
* Excellent communicator with confident negotiation skills
* IOSH and SMSTS qualified
* Confident user of digital systems
* Highly organised, self-motivated and goal-oriented
* Able to manage workload effectively in line with business demands
* Full UK driving licence
