Management Accountant (Permanent Role) | Environmental Services | West London & Buckinghamshire (Hybrid - 3 Days Office) | £58,000 + Bonus


Robert Half are partnering with a global Environmental Services organisation to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant. This is a hybrid role split across sites in West London and Buckinghamshire, with three days per week in the office (across both locations) and two days from home.


This is a high-visibility business partnering role supporting operational leadership across key contracts. You’ll work closely with Senior Operational Managers, providing meaningful financial insight to drive performance, efficiency and informed decision-making within a large, complex organisation.




About the Role


*Partner closely with Senior Operational Managers and the General Manager to provide financial insight and commercial support.
* Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with operational stakeholders.
* Deliver monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and performance commentary.
* Analyse operational data and KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
* Act as Finance Business Partner to the Senior Contract Manager, advising on performance improvement and cost control.
* Oversee and report on capital expenditure, ensuring robust financial control.
* Conduct post-investment reviews and long-term financial performance analysis.
* Support continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and controls.




What We’re Looking For


*Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
* Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner role within industry.
* Strong experience working with non-finance stakeholders in operational environments.
* Commercially minded, confident and able to influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
* Candidates moving directly from practice without industry experience will not be considered.
* Must be comfortable travelling weekly between West London and Buckinghamshire sites.
