We are seeking an A Level Sociology Teacher to join a vibrant FE Sixth Form College in Brockley, South East London. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to contribute to our sociology department. The role involves teaching on Mondays and Thursdays for the next 4 weeks.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and informative sociology lessons to A Level students.
*Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching methodologies and student learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Sociology Teacher at A Level.
*Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students.
*Organisational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
