Job Description:
GCSE English Teacher
*Location: Somerset
*Job Type: Temporary (ASAP until 2nd April)
*Salary: £40 PAYE - £45 Umbrella per hour
We are currently seeking a GCSE English Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is ready to engage students and enhance their English language skills. The position requires a commitment from Tuesday to Friday, with a focus on both teaching and preparation.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Teach GCSE English classes for a total of 15 hours per week.
*Plan and prepare engaging and educational lessons for students.
*Utilise the remaining hours for lesson planning and preparation.
*Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday, including a 1-hour unpaid break, equating to 5.5 hours per day.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in English.
*Experience teaching GCSE English.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
*Passion for education and fostering academic growth in students.
