Job Description:
Finance Analyst
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Financial Operations & Transformation team. This is a broad, high-impact role supporting financial reporting, data integrity and automation across Bregal’s fund structures.
You will work closely with Fund Finance, FP&A, Portfolio Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to deliver accurate, timely and scalable management reporting, while driving process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and deliver management reporting packs across fund structures.
*Ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data.
*Investigate and resolve reporting or system data issues.
*Support data cleansing, reconciliations and reporting validation.
*Contribute to reporting automation and process transformation initiatives.
*Partner with Business and Data teams to enhance systems and reporting outputs.
*Support fund and deal setup from a reporting perspective.
*Maintain clear documentation of reporting logic and processes.
Skills & Experience
*Part-qualified / newly qualified accountant with private equity fund knowledge.
*Strong Excel and analytical skills; experience with Power BI (Tableau advantageous).
*Experience working with large datasets and complex reporting environments.
*Exposure to fund administrators and systems (e.g. Investran) is a plus.
*Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
*Clear communicator with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
