As Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of monthly management accounts for individual group entities, ensuring accurate reporting while supporting the wider business with clear, insightful financial analysis. This is more than a month-end role you’ll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Description
This is more than a month-end role, as a Management Accountant you’ll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Duties include:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Posting accruals, prepayments and other month-end journals
*Balance sheet reconciliations & fixed asset management
*Variance analysis with meaningful commentary
*Monitoring performance against budget and forecast
*Supporting board pack preparation
*Business partnering across departments
*Liaising with auditors and external stakeholders
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should be:
*Working towards a professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
*Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
*Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
*The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate financial information clearly.
