Salary: £33,235 – £52,064 (MPS/UPS) + TLR 1A £10,173
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

The school is seeking an exceptional Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their leadership team on a permanent, full-time basis from Easter 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and strategic SENCO to shape and lead the provision for students with SEND, ensuring that every young person receives the support they need to thrive.
About the Role
As SENCO, you will be a key member of the school’s leadership team and will:
*Lead the strategic direction of SEND provision across the school
*Oversee the identification, assessment, and support of students with additional needs
*Work closely with teachers, support staff, families, and external agencies
*Ensure the school remains fully compliant with the SEND Code of Practice
*Champion inclusive practice and drive high standards of provision
This role comes with a TLR 1A (£10,173) in recognition of its strategic importance.
About You
The successful candidate will:
*Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be willing to complete it)
*Have a strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practice
*Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
*Show a commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners
*Bring energy, empathy, and a child-centred approach to the role
