The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Negligence Solicitor to join a well-established and growing team. This is an excellent role for a Solicitor looking to progress their career while working on complex, high-quality matters within a supportive and collegiate environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing medical negligence cases from initial instruction through to post-settlement
*Screening new enquiries and assessing prospects of success
*Reviewing medical records, preparing chronologies and gathering evidence
*Instructing counsel and medical experts
*Advising clients on funding options, risk and case strategy
*Supporting senior colleagues and providing cover where required
*Advising on related matters including complaints, inquests and access to medical records
*Delivering a sensitive and professional service to vulnerable clients, including elderly and disabled individuals
Abot You
*Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
*Approximately 2+ years’ PQE in Medical Negligence
*Demonstrates the ability to manage matters with a good level of autonomy
*Strong client care, communication and relationship-building skills
*Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
*A collaborative team player who maintains high professional and ethical standards
