Learning Support Assistant – Mainstream School (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Stowmarket
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–16:30
Rate: £14 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people in their education?
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream school located just outside Stowmarket. You’ll be working across both primary and secondary age groups, helping students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with varying needs.
*Assist teachers in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
*Support students with their learning, communication, and classroom engagement.
*Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
What We’re Looking For
*SEN experience is preferred but not essential – the school values the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
*An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
*A friendly, patient, and proactive approach.
*Someone reliable, supportive, and passionate about helping young people succeed.
Travel Requirements
The school is not accessible via public transport, so you must be a driver or able to reach the school by alternative means.
